How to deploy and display WebCenter Portal Taskflows

1. Stop WC_Portal managed server. Yes.. and we don't have any workaround for this :S

2. Deploy

a. First alternative - Inside of AppTaskFlows.jws Application, navigate to TaskFlows project to deploy:

i. Right click above Project Deploy – TaskFlows… :

ii. Choose WC_Portal node manager and click finish:

b. 2^nd alternative – Upload War library to Weblogic

i. Navigate to Deployments

ii. Upload War file

iii. Install as a library

iv. Choose WC_Portal Server and click finish.

3. Start WC_portal server

4. Add and display TaskFlow to Webcenter Portal

a. Navigate to <host>:<port>/webcenter/portal/admin/assets/structure/catalogs

b. Create Custom Portal Catalog (Copy from Default Portal Catalog)

c. Edit Custom Portal Catalog

i. Add from library

ii. Search for your taskflow name and add it:

d. Add your custom portal catalog in your portal

i. Navigate to <host>:<port>/webcenter/portal/admin/portals/admin/<your portal name>/settings

ii. Choose your resource Catalog and click save.

e. Display your taskflow on a page

i. Edit your portal

ii. Add quicklinks task flow Content
